West Tex Paving is a locally owned and operated asphalt paving contractor serving Midland, Odessa, and the rest of West Texas. Since 1975 we've paved driveways for homeowners, parking lots for businesses, and roads, pads, and yards for farms, ranches, and the oilfield, with 50 years of combined experience on the crew.
We lay hot mix asphalt, recycled millings, chip seal, caliche, and gravel, and we do our own dirt work, grading, and base. That range matters: the surface we recommend is the one that fits your job and your budget, not just the one on the truck.
The way we work hasn't changed since the beginning. Come look at the job, give a fair price, show up when we said we would, and leave the place clean.

Pavement out here has to survive triple-digit summers, unfiltered UV, blowing sand, and heavy oilfield and ag traffic. Most of what decides whether it does happens before the asphalt ever arrives: grading and a caliche base compacted to carry the load.
So that's where we put your money. It's why driveways we paved decades ago are still in service, and why our best advertising has always been the pavement itself.
